for those of us who find the board game of Monopoly tedious and drawn out this version is the opposite. fast paced and no squabbling with the other players on who gets what property. this game is perfect for a twosome waiting for their plane or even their dinner at a restaurant.

This isnt Monopoly, its a completely different game but a very good one!! I play it with my 9 year old, and it helps her think in advance, develop estrategy, decide about taking risks and mental math skills. I dont know why, but she beats me every time!!! the size and the fact that you can decide how long it will be (you can choose a goal amount o a number of turns) makes it a great purchase.

Monopoly Express is an innovation of the standard game, and it has 2 main positives. 1) it takes a short time to play; and 2) it is portable / compact. Some of the negatives are 1) the loss of competition / competing with other players - you are mostly competting against the dice; and 2) the excitement of watching your housing development grow compared to your playmates is absent.

My husband and I really enjoy this game- it's much more fun than we anticipated. It goes super fast with minimal thought- perfect if you want to reconnect while the kids are playing with their toys for a few minutes. The portability is another great feature. I like it better than the original!

I purchased this to add to my camping games since it's portable. The kids in my family just loved this and I think would have played all weekend long. I liked that it could be played in a reasonably short amount of time, unlike the classic version that could take hours and hours. It was easy to catch on to the modified rules of this Monopoly game, though there are a few circumstances that aren't necessarily covered - in that case we just made up a rule and consistently stuck with it ourselves. I gave it 3 stars for durability only because there are so many dice and kids are apt to lose them if not watched carefully. Shouldn't be any problems for adults. Same goes for Scrabble Express.
