We finally have a Gwen figure!

Yeah, I know, she's dressed as Lucky Girl, Gwen's super hero persona from a few episodes of the TV show. Wouldn't this be the "Battle" version of Gwen? I digress.

Yeah, her outfit is purple (in the show, it is black), but she's still pretty cool.

I've put a lot of wear and tear on her, and she only has a few chips in her paint.

She's a very durable figure, so Ban Dai gets points for that.

Your cast gets a little more complete with her. As someone who played with toys like this A LOT when I was younger, I am very happy there's a figure of her. It is hard to have realistic playtime if the foil for your main character is MIA.

Gwen is in every episode of the TV Show, so I'm glad there is a figure of her at last...now all we need is a Grandpa Max.

This costume worked out great for my 4 year old son. The light weight material kept him from getting hot while running around on Halloween night. The shirt was easy for him to get on and he could secure the velcro snap himself. The pants were also easily adjustable for his hieght due to the elastic waistband. The only suggestion I would make for his height would have been elastic at the ankles but that might make the costume not work for taller children needing the same size.

my son loved this costume. It was very thin material though so not good if it is cold. He was able to wear it over his pants and a long sleeved shirt. The wrist band stayed on securely. We were happy with it although it was pretty flimsy material.

I bought the markers for making t-shirts. It was easy to color the shirts with but, you must remember to put newspaper underneath the fabric because it will bleed through. Anyways, I followed the instructions carefully on heat-setting before washing; to my amazement, after the first washing, all the color washed out! This product gets a "Needs Improvement" grade from me!

Last year I used Crayola Fabric Markers for a VBS, t-shirt, craft project. I tested the fabric makers on an old t-shirt to see how easy they would be to use. Children from 1st grade through 6th grade were coloring in a t-shirt design. I was very pleased with these markers, they were much easier for the kids to use than fabric crayons or fabric paints.

When coloring a design on a t-shirt, the fabric must be kept tight. I put a copy of the design on a magazine, then placed the magazine, with the design on top, inside the t-shirt. (so the design could be seen through the shirt)Then stapled around the design, keeping the shirt tight. I prepared 80 t-shirts in this way.

The colors are bright & don't run. The markers should not be shaken, should be re-capped as soon as possible, and should be stored in a horizontal position.

The design must be heat set which can be done by ironing the back of the design using a back and forth motion for 4 minutes...or...the design can be placed in a dryer, using the hottest setting, for 30 minutes.

I have bleached the sample t-shirt twice, surprisingly the Crayola Fabric Marker design was not affected. It's as bright as the first day I made it.

I loved them! They made great images to use in my quilts. The ink is easy to heat set. I went and bought all they had left!

My 5 year old got this as a gift. I have been looking for a paint by number activity, but most of them were too hard for her age. This one is good because the shapes are large enough for little hands still learning coordination can paint without much difficulty and the paints are in the shape of the numbers, so it is easier to her to reference than if the numbers were printed somewhere beside the paint. My three year old actually did this without much difficulty, and it helped her with learning her numbers. This project is a great idea!! Thanks again, Alex toys!

Overall, this was a great gift for my nephew, who is 5 1/2. He enjoyed decorating the cars, and then racing them with his dad. They go surprisingly fast given that it is just a pull-back action. The only problem was that the wheel on one car kept falling off (until fixed with some tape). Otherwise, 5 stars for creativity and fun. Also, he continued to play with the racing aspect of the cars for many days after he finished painting them.

I have 3 children, age 7 and younger. Bought this costume for my 7-year old son for Halloween... he is CRAZY about Ben 10. I have purchased many crappy toys during the time that I have had children in my house, but this is far and away the worst quality piece of garbage that I have ever had the displeasure of wasting my hard earned money on. Doesn't look anything like the picture. The costume is one piece, made of flimsy/thin nylon. The jacket does not stay closed and the left and right sides of the jacket fly open & are not visible. The back has a gap in it & child's underwear & back are hanging out like an open hospital gown. I would strongly recommend NOT buying this terrible piece of junk.

The costume is definitely an authentic look, but its pretty cheaply made. All the hems and edges of the fabric are finished with a zigzig stitching to prevent fraying. If you have a sewing machine you can simply turn under and top stitch - which is what the manufacturer shoudl have done. But since my son doesn't care, its great for the price.

I ordered this sz 4-6 costume for my twins. They are 3-1/2 years old and weigh 38 lbs. The costume legs are long on them but the body of the costume fits them well with room for a thin jacket to be worn underneath while trick or treating in the cool weather. This costume is TOO SMALL for my 5 year old who is 48 lbs and 48 inches tall - he can wear it but it is tight and he would not be able to wear warm clothes underneath it.

The material is flimsy BUT it is the same material of any other Halloween costume. The pants shirt and jacket are all one piece that fits like a jumper and stays on well. The jacket hangs open while being worn so for trick or treating I am going to use fabric double-sided tape to keep the jack more closed and visible. The bracelet that comes with the costume is made of material and attaches with Velcro. My twins LOVE this costume and have worn it around the house since the moment it arrived. It has held up through lots of rough housing. The colors are nice and bright and for those that are familiar with Ben 10 there is no doubt what this costume is.

I was afraid when this arrived that it looked too lightweight, but that also means that my son can do all the Ben-10 stunt moves and run around in it freely. It is fairly easy to get him into and out of it and he loves the flexible 'jacket' attached to the shirt - and the soft velcro watch. He is a tall 5 1/2 year-old, lean, and it fits well and has wiggle room and a little length. I love this because he's having a blast in it and pretends he's in the show with Ben - so it works for him for sure! Of course Halloween may be a cold night, but he'll have an extra coat. I don't know what people expect - it's a great buy for the price and shouldn't be too thick or stiff - so there's plenty of playtime indoors with it too. My son loves it so I'm happy.

I bought this for my son on sale since he loves Ben 10. It says it come with batteries however, it didn't work and requires watch batteries which was fine. The top of the brain snaps off easily which is a disappointment, especially when it's the first day. It does snap back on easily but it just snaps right back off a few minutes later. My son still enjoys playing with it but I probably would have picked a different toy if I could go back and redo it.

I purchased this to add to my camping games since it's portable. The kids in my family just loved this and I think would have played all weekend long. I liked that it could be played in a reasonably short amount of time, unlike the classic version that could take hours and hours. It was easy to catch on to the modified rules of this Monopoly game, though there are a few circumstances that aren't necessarily covered - in that case we just made up a rule and consistently stuck with it ourselves. I gave it 3 stars for durability only because there are so many dice and kids are apt to lose them if not watched carefully. Shouldn't be any problems for adults. Same goes for Scrabble Express.

It is built to change and it comes apart rather than break, but it is always apart. My son can't play with it without a door or the engine cover coming off. Then he runs to us to fix it. I can't tell you how annoying contiually putting this back together gets after the 100th time something comes off.

Its a little too complicated for a 4 year old to put back together, so what are we to do. I wouldn't buy again.

My 6 year old just got this for his birthday, and he's absolutley thrilled. However, for a toy in the $70 range it really doesn't do much. You can spin the dial to choose an alien (very tiny backlit pics of the 10 aliens are on the dial), press the watch face down and it makes some sound effects. It will then "time out" just like in the show.

My son so far is having a great time with it, and in a way it's probably good that it encourages imagination, but seriously, this thing should cost $20-30, tops. Seems fairly durable, bit it is plastic, so who knows. We only bought it for him because it's all he wanted for his b-day. So, to summarize, I'm very happy that my son is happy, but it's also a shame that Bandai feels the need to overcharge so severely for this toy.

The whole purpose of this toy is to wear it on the wrist and act like Ben 10. My son loves this toy but got very frustrated because it wouldn't stay on his wrist. The hard plastic part is too thick and we cannot get it tight enough to stay on without rotating around.

Eventually I ended up duct taping the straps together to make it fit tighter. Still not perfect but at least he doesn't whine every time he puts it on to "make it tighter mommy!"

While the IDEA of assembling your own creatures is great, and our son loves putting together the various pieces to create new "guys," this toy is poorly made and will remain forever in our memories as a BAD idea. Our family endured 3 hours of frustration - both child and adult - because this toy is so difficult to enjoy. Each alien requires a TINY grey piece in order to be attached to another part or to the chamber. This is day 2 and several of these have already fallen off and some are lost (no extras are provided!) All the parts are so tiny and difficult to insert that the toy is not appropriate for a 4-year old's manual agility (or a 40-year old) Once we get the alien's parts in the chamber to "create" him, the dials become immobile. Once we mobilize the dials and turn the creation button, it's almost impossible for a grown-up to, as the instructions dictate, to "lock" the parts and the press the button to pop out the new creature. My husband has to come over and press the button every time. VERY frustrating. Many tears and fits later, we will not recommend this toy. Great idea, poor implementation. Definitely not age-appropriate, and definitely not worth $30. Get some legos instead.

I will agree that the tab that holds the torso in place is a little weak (we ended up breaking it the first time we used it like others who have added comments here). However, soon we figured out how everything worked and we never had a problem with it since. My boys LOVE creating and "being" the aliens. They played with it for three months straight after we got it and ask for new aliens for every birthday and Christmas. We just hope Bandai keeps creating new aliens!

My son got this and it is pretty cool! he is 6. My 11 yo actually likes it a little better tho I think. seems a little difficult for my 6yo to grasp how he needs to set it up w/out breaking the little parts. and they ARE LITTLE PARTS. chamber comes w/ extra white clip for the torso part. nothing broke on ours yet. we will be extra careful based on its reviews from others tho.

my son actually got ALL the extra kits/2-pack sets that go with this and the bottom of the chamber is not large enough to hold more than 6 or 8 guy parts unless you mix them all up together. they should have made the storage area deeper so all can be stored in it. we have a tupperware container full too. the top of the chamber doesn't lock on top for storing it so keeps falling off if he bumps it in his room, etc.

he seems to enjoy playing w/ it and he and my older son like to make up what powers the mixed up aliens will have. sometimes they put them together w/out the chamber.

Bought this for my son's 6th birthday. He has asked for it for months. I paid $30 for it and he was super excited. Got it home to find out that you have to tweak the unit every time you go to make an alien, and if everything isn't lined up just right the parts won't go together. I can get it to work 95% of the time and my son can get it to work 5% of the time. He loves it, but it causes him a lot of frustration. It might be great for an older child who is ok with bumping the parts into place when they don't line up, but for a 6 yo who expects it to work the way its shows on TV it is a big letdown.

Our item came with a spare clip for the torso, but we have had it one day and have had to replace the original clip already. Not a well made toy at all.

"Fairly Enjoyable But Difficult to Use" 2009-03-07

I bought this for my 5-year-old Grandson's birthday and he really loves it. He and I usually play it together when he comes to visit on weekends. I say he and I because some of the controls are too stiff for him to work. Specifically, there's thumb-wheels that you spin to select arms, leg unit, and head after you manually insert the body part. One of the thumb-wheels is difficult for even me to work and, after finally getting it to turn, jerks the whole unit so hard some/all of the parts come loose and fly out of the unit. Also, to make the whole thing work, there's a dial/button you first turn until the parts are together and the lights lite up then push down to pop the assembled Ben10 character off. About 3/4 of the time, my grandson can't turn this or push it down and, when I do it, the aforementioned disaster happens. Not that I mind playing with my grandson but he plays with it by himself between weekends but ends up just assembling/disassembling the characters without the machine. After several weeks, we've had no breakage. He's now become bored with the toy but additional 2-packs of Ben10 characters ($15.00--yikes!) rekindle (no pun intended) his interest.

I got up early and was able to get Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters at WalMart. So glad because I know they are selling out stores because I've been calling everywhere.

Anyway, my kids have been playing with them all day. And then hair got wrapped around the little wheel and I thought one had broke so I spent forever trying to get the hair off -- but that's not what was making an additional squealing noise and making the wheels stop turning.

The little Zhu Zhu pets hamsters just needed new batteries. They came with 2 AAA batteries from the manufacturer -- and I'm sure they weren't in the store that long so that little hands could've worn out the batteries thru the "try me" window.

They must've just come with batteries not as good as the ones I changed them into. Because I just popped in some Duracel or whatever batteries -- and now the Zhu Zhu Pets run even faster than when we first bought them this morning.

My children are playing with them as I write.

Now we want all the Zhu Zhu pets in the collection -- and the accessories. Maybe by Christmas or before...

I guess these are flying off the shelves in some places & online. I had no problem buying my son three & could have bought more. I bought the gray, brown & yellow ones. I think the negative reviews are to warn parents about how much these are retailed to sell for so that they don't get ripped off. I wouldn't know how much it cost if I didn't read the reviews so I am glad someone posted them.

Picked up two of these guys the other day since they happened to be in the store and I happened to be in the store. A little bit of background first: I'm a 26 year-old collector of many things including robotic pets. I've tried out Furbys, Micropets, Neopets, Scoozie pets, Petal-chi, Mutsu, Fureal Friends, and more so I consider myself a bit of an expert on the subject.

To start with, these things eat batteries, have triple A's on hand. Second, I don't have any playsets, I'm just testing the hamsters.

Upon opening and removing this little guy I tried out "cuddle mode", which was a little disappointing. The hamster will lie still and make cute noises every few seconds or so but he isn't really responding to anything. "Try me mode" is when the hamster is off but you can push his nose to hear a random noise, not a lot of fun there. Now play mode, that's where the fun is. The wheels are fast and the grip is really strong, I promptly put it on my boyfriend to see if it would climb up his shirt and it did, hit the back of the couch, made a springy noise and ran back down. Even he cracked up at it. It tackles carpet and all hard surfaces no problem, and makes a ton of different noises, some 40 in all, and each of the four designs sounds unique!. You have to be careful around stairs but all in all it does what it was made to do and cheaply at that. At normal retail they're cheaper than most action figures.

(I got mine at normal retail and I suggest you wait until you can too. If you have kids and can't find them try giving a cute IOU written from the hamster saying how it will come to live with your child after X-mas. They have a guarantee from you, you have a kid who still has something to look forward to after December. All is well.)

Remember these are for ages 3 and up and have motorized parts. It says in the instruction to supervise your child, so do so. Risk is probably minimal but if you have a kid you wouldn't give a RC car to then they're probably too little for these.

So to wrap up

Good: Funny and varied sounds, cheap, cute, runs fast and randomly, fascinates my dog!
Bad: Hard to find (for now), eats batteries, can pinch, can be broken with a moderate impact.

A rodent on wheels
This was purchased for my daughter. I was afraid it would be one of those toys purchased then set aside. It's funny and makes cute noises, is responsive to being petted, and rolls all over the house.

Still, it is now a dust collector after a month. If only we could convince the child to contribute to her own college fund.... sigh..... anyone want to buy a slightly used rolling hamster???

A cute little toy
My daughter has been saving her allowance for the last few weeks hoping to find these and today we stumbled across them at TRU for retail price. For the $10 price tag she's been very entertained this afternoon. The creature makes a variety of chirping, beeping, and random noises as it whirls around. It works much better on a tile, vinyl, or hardwood surface than on carpet. You can either have it in a cuddle type mode where you press its head and it chitters at you or press the back and it'll run around randomly. It's a sweet toy although noisier than I expected. The store clerk said that production is supposed to meet demand in a few weeks as Christmas draws closer. For $10 we're happy, but I'm not sure it's worth 2 or 3 times as much as it is a rather simple toy.

Great Omnitrix, but could be improved upon
The Ultimate Omnitrix is a great idea, but several things could be done better. First, they should sell a "Super Alien Pack" with all 10 clear figures and a spare set of batteries for the watch, as the watch has those annoying button cell batteries. Second, the Omnitrix I picked up had a little quirk in that the face was reluctant to stay completely down. Also, the clear figures are designed so that they will only slot in facing the power switch, aka backwards. You can wear the watch with the power switch facing you, which is a great way to save battery, but its a bit annoying. One very positive aspect of the watch is the improved strap. It's hard to get on, but once you get the hang of it, the pegs are made much better compared to the fastening pegs for the Ben 10 Omnitrix F/X (first Omnitrix toy), which tear off after a month or so of use. Overall, great toy but a little "glitchy".

A new and improved Omnitrix, an all new high cost
This omnitrix is definately a step above the others. The accuracy to the show and the overall coolness of being able to plug in the figures you collect for sounds make this a must have for any Ben 10 fan. Especially those with child relatives who like the roleplay toys.

My only real complaint is the cost. It's almost as though the price was hiked up simply because it would have otherwise been the same price as the other Omnitrix's. It's a cool toy, but a cool $15 toy, not $20.

Each come with a mini translucent figure to attach to this omnitrix which reveals that alien's voice and name, like on the show. The figures are hard to get on and off, but you will manage. I use a screwdriver. I have tinkered with the omnitrix and unlocked voices of Alien Force aliens that have not come out yet-Goop and Spidermonkey-which come out later this year. Now, the price I have to pay is a messed up omnitrix. But oh well, I still love that thing and I am 16!

Great Toy
My son is 3 yrs old and loves the action figures and cartoon Ben 10. He was pretending to have an omnitrix and we couldn't resist getting him a "real" one. He loves it. It fits on him well and stays on. He isn't old enough to get all the options it comes with but he loves it anyways and will only enjoy it more as he gets older and can understand how to use it in different ways. Overall it was a great toy for my son, even at age 3.

if your kid loves ben 10 he'll love this toy
my son loves his omnitrix. its a big hit with the other kids he plays with who range from his age(4) to 12. the screen is neat and displays all the organial aliens(inculdeing ghostfreak) from the cartoon. there is a little game you can play on it as well. it fasten on the wrist with a velcro strap that fits well. the sound effects are really well done and the best ive seen from any of the ben ten toys. if your kid loves ben 10 and loves to pretend this is a must have

A little disappointed
Beware: The arm band on this watch doesn't clasp well and the "illuminator" feature doesn't really illuminate in my opinion. My son has almost every Ben 10 watch... he only played with this one for one day and hasn't touched it again. The other watches in the Ben 10 product line are far superior to this one.

Great toy for the 2 hours it worked
My 7-year-old son bought this with his own money. Huge fan of Ben 10. Got it home and he was thrilled to play with it. The band would not stay attached no matter what we did. Poor design. Then about 2 hours after he started playing with it, it stopped working. I bought new batteries ($11 worth) and still nothing. Have an email in to Bandai, because he is so disappointed - not something I would usually do, but just got fed up with the waste of money we spend on toys that do not work. Hopefully they will get back to us.

Belt is terrible! did maker test it before selling?
I 've been waiting for this omnitrix for my 3 and 6 years old son. They love Ben 10 and Ben 10 alian force. We got 4 figures with crystal(clear plastic made of) supposed top of the omnitrix.

Light yellow, green and white 3 clors with changing dials and shows alian whitch you want change. It's shows very small even dark room like penny size (hard to see if it's quarter size)but kids are liked it.

Bad point is belt! Is this item really tested before they selling?
We got 2 same things and both has same problem!
It's easy to come off even 3 years old my son with biggest wrist size setting. It's came off! Every 5 min! they come to me to re-wrap on their wrist every 5 min. I wish I could use crazy glue it on the hole but I can't.
I wish they designed same belt as usual watch band or even magic tape is much much better. I'm just waiting for my kids give up on this toy so I don't need to put it on every 5 min....

I know Bandai create very good and strong toys in the past. But this one, I cannot believe it was been sold by Bandai.
